I am thankful for Jesus

Have you ever felt like your life was such a mess that how in the world could anything good come from it? This is how I felt a few years ago when my family's world came crashing down financially and it was a GIGANTIC mess. As trials were knocking us down again and again, I honestly questioned God's sovereign plan on more than one occasion. The video below perfectly represents how I felt my life was a complete mess yet God turned it all around so I could see the face of Jesus in a way I had never seen Him before.

How thankful I am for Jesus!

Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Thank you for sharing your story Tamara. I'm so glad that your life has turned around and that God had such perfect plans for you.
I know so many of us are thankful that you are part of our lives because of what you went through.

The Lord brings you and your family's previous situation to my mind a lot, including just yesterday. Someone at church was reading out of Deuteronomy at a place where God was speaking to the Israelites and basically said "when you get to the Promised Land, you'll be fighting some battles." We don't always think about that, do we? It is so much "nicer" to think of God escorting us to our Promised Land's full of "milk and honey" and flowers and sunshine. He promised a land full of milk and honey but also, He said you would have battles (and of course, Jesus in the NT said we would have troubles). But, I think you would agree, you saw God in a whole different way going through all of that and those kinds of experiences makes living here worth something more than gold. Love you!
